Jim Winship

Jim Winship is responsible for the British Sandwich & Food to Go Association, the Pizza, Pasta & Italian Food Association and the Café Life Association. He began his career as a journalist before moving into public relations, where he advised leading food brands. In the mid-1980s, he was invited to manage the Pizza, Pasta & Italian Food Association and later helped establish the British Sandwich Association. As Director of the associations, he represents the interests of their sectors to government, provides technical support to members and oversees industry initiatives and events, including British Sandwich Week and industry awards. He also publishes three food trade magazines, supporting communication and knowledge-sharing across the sectors he represents.
