Johannes Sarx

Johannes Sarx leads BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg, the state agency advancing the healthcare sector across the state by connecting academia, industry, and healthcare providers. Previously, he served as Managing Director of LISAvienna, Vienna’s life sciences cluster, and headed the Deep Technologies Department at Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws), Austria’s federal development and financing bank. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Consultant at Alcimed, a Paris-based strategy consultancy specializing in life sciences and pharmaceuticals. He holds a degree in Molecular Biotechnology from Dresden University of Technology and an MBA with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona.
