Jon Petrie

Petrie joined Hat Trick as creative director in September 2026 after five years as the BBC’s director of comedy, where he commissioned shows including Ludwig, Amandaland, Small Prophets, Ann Droid and Dreaming Whilst Black. A two-time Bafta-winning producer, Petrie previously worked at Channel 4, Broke and Bones and Roughcut. His producing credits include Stath Lets Flats, all five seasons of People Just Do Nothing and the feature film People Just Do Nothing: Big in Japan.
