Juana Ortiz Basso

Juana Ortiz Basso has served as Commercial Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board since October 2023. She joined the organisation in June 2019 as Tour & Travel Manager within the Promotion department. She currently leads the destination’s commercial strategy, strengthening relationships with tour operators and travel agencies while developing key markets such as the United States, Mexico, and Canada. She also drives the expansion and consolidation of emerging markets across Europe, Australia, and Latin America. She brings more than 17 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. She began her career in the hotel sector in Argentina before continuing her professional journey in Mexico, working with tour operators including Austral Mayorista and Juliá Tours.
