Juhi Sardana

Juhi is an accomplished life sciences professional with extensive experience in drug discovery. She holds a master’s degree in Genetics from the University of Delhi, India, which laid the foundation for her strong scientific career. Juhi did her PhD at the Max Planck Institute in Munich, where she gained deep expertise in genetic and biological mechanisms underlying neural development. Following her PhD, Juhi expanded her scientific scope by transitioning into chemical biology. She joined Professor Herbert Waldmann’s group at the Max Planck Institute in Dortmund, where she worked as a cell assay expert. In this role, she contributed to target identification and validation of lead compounds, particularly within the Wnt signaling pathway, strengthening her capabilities in translational and applied research. In 2018, Juhi joined AstraZeneca as a Senior Research Scientist, where she took on the role of screening lead across multiple drug discovery projects encompassing diverse modalities.
