Julia Darko

Dr Julia Darko (MRCGP, MSc, MBBS, AFFMLM) is a General Practitioner and clinical academic dedicated to advancing precision prevention through genomic medicine. She holds MSc degrees with Distinction in both Genomic Medicine and Public Health. Dr Darko serves as General Practitioner & Practice Research Lead at Campus View Medical Centre and works with HCA Healthcare UK. Previously an Academic Clinical Fellow at the University of Leicester, she acted as Local Principal Investigator for a study piloting pharmacogenomics in primary care. Active in shaping the field, she is a member of the NHSE Pharmacogenomic Genomic Network of Excellence and the RCGP Primary Care Workforce Group for Genomics. Her work focuses on equitably translating multi-modal diagnostic and genomic data into actionable, personalised care.
