Julie Meldal-Johnsen

Meldal-Johnsen is executive VP of global content at ITV Studios, where she leads programme acquisitions, coproductions and content strategy across all genres for the global distribution division, and manages the distributor’s relationships with producers. Previously, she was based in LA as senior executive VP, scripted and business development, at ITV Studios America, responsible for driving growth strategy and operations for its US scripted arm. This included managing ITV Studios America’s first-look deals and overseeing the development and production of scripted projects across ITV America’s group of companies. Before that, Meldal-Johnsen held a variety of senior distribution and production roles at ITV Studios, having first joined the ITV PLC central legal team following the merger of Carlton and Granada.
