Karen Crookes

Karen is an experienced tutor and quilt designer with many years of teaching all levels of student. Karen enjoys taking complete beginner’s and putting them on their quilting journey. She regularly runs workshops and weekend retreats in her home town of Farnham in Surrey. Embroidery is Karen’s first love and she has combined both this and patchwork in her quilt designs, publishing her first book – Sugar and Spice- in 2024. Karen recently made her debut appearance on Sewing Street with Sugar and Spice book and will be back again in 2026!
