Karen Geekie

Karen Geekie is part of the Scottish Government team leading on HGV decarbonisation for Scotland. She led the development of the Zero Emission Truck Taskforce, bringing together leading figures in logistics, manufacturing, energy and finance to shape the HGV Decarbonisation Pathway. Currently she works on energy infrastructure for zero emission trucks in Scotland, working with electricity networks, investors, chargepoint operators, academics and haulage fleets to map demand for charging. Transport Scotland have funding available now for collaborative, large scale HGV decarbonisation projects and for SME’s to analyse their fleets and routes.
