Karl Buck

Karl has more than 20 years’ travel-industry experience. A Tourism Management graduate, he began his career with Thomas Cook and has since worked internationally and travelled across six continents. Since joining One Traveller in 2016, he has developed new destinations, expanded the long-haul portfolio and helped the programme grow from 35 to 160 holidays. Today, Karl leads One Traveller’s Operations and Tour Managers teams. He brings the panel a valuable behind-the-scenes perspective on how guests are welcomed, how group dynamics develop and how reassurance, companionship and independence combine to make a holiday memorable.
