Karthik Ravindran

Karthik has been with Microsoft for over 25 years, focused on leading data and AI transformation investments for the past 15 years. Karthik has led data teams for Microsoft products and internal business operations, including Microsoft’s first internal data office. He led product and engineering for the Microsoft Purview Data Governance solution. In his current role as the GM for Microsoft’s Data Platforms GTM, he is responsible for Microsoft's data platforms go-to-market strategy and field enablement. Karthik is actively engaged in supporting customer engagements for data and AI transformation. He is an active speaker at events and publisher of content on the subject on LinkedIn. Karthik serves as a board member for the EDMC (Enterprise Data Management Council), a vendor neutral organization serving global data leaders. He was recognized as a Top 100 CDOs in the US in 2025 by the CDO Magazine.
