Katie Pryor

Pryor is co-founder and president of FilmUSA, the national trade association of US film commissions, and executive director of the Baton Rouge Film Commission. FilmUSA represents more than 120 state, regional, city and tribal film offices, giving the American screen economy a coordinated voice at international markets and in federal policy. The association has established a national US presence across a growing circuit of global markets, connecting international producers directly with US film commissioners for first-hand information on the incentives, locations, crews and infrastructure available throughout the country. FilmUSA is a founding member of the US Film & TV Production Coalition, which is advancing a federal production incentive, and Pryor leads the organisation’s work towards a national economic development strategy for the US screen sector.
