Katie Tobin

Katie is a business development consultant with a background in trend forecasting, research and strategic insight. Her work is rooted in understanding people, markets and culture, and how these shape the way businesses build relationships, communicate their value and win work. Through Always Thinking, which she runs alongside Karen Willey, Katie helps architecture, design, engineering and construction businesses take a more focused and creative approach to business development. She brings a research-led mindset to BD, encouraging inquisitive questioning, intelligent conversation and client-centred thinking. Katie has led the Festival of Hospitality from the beginning, shaping its direction, community and membership experience. Co-founded with Karen, the Festival continues to grow as a year-long programme, creating inspiring events and carefully curated rooms that bring together leading names from across UK and global hospitality.
