Kevin Cyrys
Postdoctoral Researcher, Hannover Medical School
Kevin Cyrys is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hannover Medical School (MHH) in the research group of Prof. Dr. Robert Zweigerdt, working within the Bioprocess Development Unit. His research focuses on the development of scalable and economically viable bioprocesses for the expansion of human pluripotent stem cells and their subsequent differentiation toward cardiomyocytes. His expertise includes hPSC suspension culture in stirred-tank bioreactors, high-density cryopreservation for direct process inoculation, and cardiomyogenic differentiation at scale. His current work focuses on advancing these processes toward GMP-compliant manufacturing and clinical translation. He is a member of the German Stem Cell Network (GSCN) and the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR).
