Laurence Woollard

Laurence Woollard specialises in patient advocacy and policy in rare disease, operating independently through his consultancy, On The Pulse. He has an extensive portfolio of collaborations and partnerships with industry and multi-agencies at a national and global level. Laurence also serves on a number of advisory boards and committees in the public and third sectors, including NHS England’s specialised blood disorders Clinical Reference Group. He is an accomplished author in both international, peer-reviewed journals as well as non-academic platforms, producing thought leadership on person-centred care and promoting evidence-informed treatment choice. Laurence holds an MSc in Health Policy from Imperial College London and lives with the rare, inherited bleeding disorder, haemophilia.
