Leah Besjakov

Dr. Roee Birnbaum is a senior OB-GYN ultrasound specialist at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and affiliated with the Tel Aviv University Gray Faculty of Medicine. His clinical and academic work focuses on fetal neurosonography, prenatal diagnosis and early detection of fetal malformations. Dr. Birnbaum’s research is centered on early fetal brain development and developmental anomalies. He has published and lectured internationally on fetal neurosonography and ultrasound approaches to evaluating the developing fetal brain. Dr. Birnbaum is actively involved in teaching and international collaborative research in fetal medicine and prenatal imaging.
