Liz Bui

Liz Bui is CEO of Yulex, a materials innovation company pioneering plant-based alternatives to petroleum-derived materials used in performance apparel, footwear, and outdoor products. She leads Yulex’s efforts to scale natural-rubber technologies for foam and fiber applications, providing high-performance alternatives to neoprene and synthetic elastics. Trained as both a scientist and an intellectual property lawyer, Liz brings more than two decades of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries to the materials sector. At Yulex, she works at the intersection of science, commercialization, and sustainability—advancing bio-based material technologies and partnering with global brands to accelerate the transition toward more resilient, lower-impact supply chains.
