Lorna Blaisse

A driven and focused Chief Executive Director and skilled Geologist with almost twenty years of oil and gas experience in Africa, including five years’ experience in the helium sector. Lorna holds a first class (Hons) Masters (MSci) degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Royal Holloway University, London with an International year from the University of Adelaide, Australia, and is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London. She has successfully led AIM-listed Helium One Global Ltd for three years through its drilling programme in the southern Rukwa Basin, which delivered the first helium discovery in Tanzania from the Itumbula West-1 well. The discovery resulted in Tanzania’s first helium Mining Licence, with the Company now planning development and production from the 480km2 licensed area.
