Luc Vernhes

Luc joined Velan in 2003, assuming various roles over the years. Currently, he serves as the Director of Business Development, where he closely engages with clients, fosters product development, and expands the market. Previously, he held positions as the head of Velan’s Innovation, R&D, and Technology team, as well as Chief of the metal-seated ball valve design team. Luc also chairs the Canadian Mirror Committee ISO/TC 153. He holds a PhD in Engineering Physics and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering. He is a licensed Mechanical Engineer in Québec, holds six US-patents, and has published around 15 peer-reviewed papers.
