Lylah Drummond-Clarke
Doctoral Researcher, University of Sussex
Lylah Drummond-Clarke is a doctoral researcher in molecular cell biology at the University of Sussex, investigating how single-strand break repair (SSBR) and DNA replication cooperate to maintain the stability and promote the maturation of nascent DNA, and applying that understanding to targeted cancer therapy. Alongside this research, Lylah works as a medical writer at Stgilesmedical London & Berlin, combining hands-on laboratory experience with the ability to support peer-reviewed publications and translate complex science into accurate communication for scientific, clinical and wider audiences.
