Macarena Rey

Rey joined Shine Group in July 2011 and founded Shine Iberia in 2012, heading up operations in Spain and Portugal ever since. Shine Iberia is part of media and entertainment powerhouse Banijay Entertainment. As an executive producer, Rey has led some of the most successful formats in both territories, including MasterChef in Spain and Portugal, La Isla, Me Resbala, Prodigios, Maestros De La Costura and its Portuguese version Cosido A Mano, The Voice Portugal and its children’s version The Voice Kids Portugal, Pesadelo Na Cozinha, D’Improviso, Sabe Ou Não Sabe, Casados À Primeira Vista and Traitors. Recently, Rey has led the production of several highly acclaimed factual shows, including 100% Únicos, international talent shows such as Hairstyle and global series created for Spain and Latin America such as Bosé.
