Mala Sibal

Dr. Mala Sibal is a gynecologist working as a consultant in Fetal Medicine & Gynecological Ultrasound at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, and the Director of Gynecology Academy, an online platform that has alumni doctors from 59 countries in gynecological ultrasound, fetal medicine, maternal medicine, and infertility management. She is the author of the book Ultrasound in Gynecology: An Atlas and Guide (Springer, 2017), which has achieved over 54,000 downloads. She has delivered over 700 lectures in 24 countries including 73 cities and published in leading journals, including JUM & UOG. She is a principal investigator of the IOTA research and has conducted 27 IOTA certification courses, training nearly 1,800 doctors. She serves as a Board Member and Scientific Committee Member of ISUOG. Additionally, she is an International Faculty Member of ISUOG and an IOTA ambassador. During her medical studies, she stood first in Gynecology and received the ‘Best Outgoing Female Student’ award.
