Maria is a British-Mexican textile artist, tailoress and educator with a passion for storytelling through stitching, sustainable making and expressive design. She is a couture-trained pattern & garment maker and now a Master Quilter, she teaches fashion, quilting and textile arts, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her classes—always with a warm and supportive approach. Her work explores the intersection of heritage, sustainability, and modern design, blending couture-level finishes with improvisational play, often using reclaimed materials to explore texture, form and meaning.
