Mario Stucki

Mario was born and raised in the Swiss mountains, where he developed a deep connection with nature from a young age. He loved outdoor activities like fishing and skiing and spent countless hours exploring the natural world around him. His love for the environment inspired him to become committed to sustainability. Driven by his passion, Mario founded dimpora AG after realizing that even those who love nature can unintentionally harm the environment. This realization made him search for sustainable alternatives to conventional membranes, which often contain harmful chemicals such as PFAS (perfluorinated chemicals). His dedication to preserving the environment led to the creation of dimpora's groundbreaking CoreLayer technology during his doctoral thesis, setting the ground for circularity in the outdoor wear industry.
