Mark Tanzer

Mark Tanzer has been Chief Executive of ABTA since 2005. ABTA is the UK’s leading travel association with around 800 head office members and 350 ancillary office members, which trade under more than 3,500 different brands. ABTA offers a broad range of services including financial bonding, health and safety guidance, customer support and alternative dispute resolution activities. ABTA works closely with international tourism destinations and with ABTA members to support their sustainability strategies. Before joining ABTA, Mark held senior strategy and corporate finance positions in a number of industry sectors. Immediately prior to ABTA, Mark was Group Strategy Director of Centrica plc.
