Mark Winterburn

Mark Winterburn is an applied philosopher working in the NHS. He is Digital and Transformation Lead for Weymouth and Portland PCN, and Co-Director of Neighbourhood CoLab CIC. Over the last two years he has been building the Neighbourhood Health Stack from the ground up: five layers of infrastructure that begin before demand arrives and do not stop when the appointment ends. Navigation Intelligence is live. The rest is in motion. Mark is interested in questions like: what would happen if we made support ridiculously easy to reach? what does the space before demand actually look like, and who lives there? why do we build for completeness when utility is the only thing that travels? what if the consultation note belonged to the patient before they reached the car? and what would neighbourhood health infrastructure look like if you designed it without knowing which patient you would be?
