I am a podiatrist with over 10 years’ experience working in a leading private practice, managing a high-volume musculoskeletal (MSK) caseload. Prior to qualifying in podiatry, I trained and worked as a Sports Therapist, gaining extensive experience in both short- and long-term injury rehabilitation. I have a strong clinical interest in all aspects of musculoskeletal care and have used sports and kinesiology taping routinely in my clinical practice since graduating as a Sports Therapist. I consider taping to be a valuable short-term intervention for MSK conditions, offering an opportunity for early symptom improvement while longer-term management strategies are developed. I have presented on two occasions at the Foot Medic Conference, delivering sessions on functional anatomy and MSK taping techniques.
