Matt Forde

Forde oversees the company’s award-winning global network of production businesses. He is responsible for identifying, creating, adapting, financing and scaling premium unscripted and scripted original content and formats from the UK and international markets for audiences worldwide, produced through BBC Studios’ local studios. Forde brings extensive commercial and creative leadership experience, having led major international teams spanning production, formats and sales. He previously served as MD, international production and formats at BBC Studios, with responsibility for the company’s production bases and global formats business outside the UK, including the US, France, Germany, Australia, India, South Africa and the Nordics. He also previously led BBC Studios’ LA production office, expanding major global brands and developing Dancing with the Stars spin-offs for ABC.
