Matthew Liston

Matt Liston is the Head of Research and Development at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and has a broad remit to deliver work that improves data and research capability and capacity across the Physiotherapy profession. Matt’s team have led work to co-develop (with professional bodies) an education programme to support all allied health professionals to better understand and apply health informatics in everyday clinical practice. Before joining the CSP, Matt was an active researcher in the UK and Australia exploring how to use neurophysiology to better understand the assessment and treatment of balance disorders and chronic pain. He now gets his research fix by working as an expert adviser to large technology research projects.
