Matthew Pickett

Matthew Pickett is a consultant to the digital healthcare industry with a broad range of commercial, marketing and general management experience gained over 20 years working close to the NHS. Previously of Cerner / Oracle Health, Matthew started his commercial career in healthcare on the National Programme for IT. After negotiating Electronic Patient Record agreements with a number of NHS Trusts and with the HSE in Dublin, he become General Manager for Cerner Ireland between 2016 and 2019. Matthew has been inspired by the potential of data and analytics to solve some of the world’s most pressing health issues of poor outcomes, equity and access. Through his role as a director for International Marketing and Corporate Affairs he has had the opportunity to experience, discuss and write about examples of digital innovation from health systems worldwide.
