Meagan Stoby-Fields

Meagan is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with over 25 years’ experience in Nephrology, leading the Advanced Kidney Care Service in East London supporting >900 patients with Stage 4–5 CKD. Her role spans complex decision-making around peritoneal and haemodialysis, transplantation, and conservative management. As Co-Lead of the National AKC Community of Practice, Meagan connects AKC teams across the UK to reduce variation in pre-dialysis care and champion shared decision-making and peer support, in partnership with the London Kidney Network and Kidney Care UK. She is a passionate advocate for lived experience, promoting peer support to help patients navigate what lies ahead.
