Michael Samarinas

Michael Samarinas, MD, PhD is a Urologist specializing in Functional Urology and Neuro-Urology, with a particular clinical and research interest in Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome (IC/BPS). He currently serves as Assistant Professor of Urology at the Second Department of Urology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, based at Papageorgiou General Hospital, Greece. Dr. Samarinas received his Medical Degree and PhD from the School of Medicine, University of Thessaly. Alongside his clinical practice, he is actively involved in research, participating in numerous research projects, clinical protocols, international publications, and scientific presentations. He is a frequent invited faculty member and key lecturer at national and international scientific meetings, promoting advances in Functional Urology and the clinical management of IC/BPS. He is a member of the International Consultation on Incontinence (ICI) 7 Guidelines Panel for Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome
