Michele Pascarella

Michele Pascarella founded Napoli on the Road in 2016, starting with a three-wheel Ape Piaggio food truck equipped with a wood-fired oven, bringing his pizza to London’s farmers’ markets. Today, Napoli on the Road has three London venues and was named World’s No.1 Pizzeria by 50 Top Pizza in 2026, after being named Europe’s No.1 Pizzeria for three consecutive years, from 2024 to 2026. Michele was named World’s Best Pizza Maker in 2023, while his signature pizza, Ricordi d’Infanzia, was awarded Best Pizza in the World in 2025. That same year, he published his first cookbook, Napoli on the Road. His journey has taken him from the streets of London to television and international media. Yet his approach remains rooted in where it all began: carefully selected seasonal ingredients, close relationships with producers, and the belief that pizza is, above all, a way of bringing people together.
