Miss Brea Cannady
Founder, PREPÆRE
Brea Cannady is the founder of PREPÆRE™, a pre-consultation safeguarding platform for aesthetic practice. She often writes and speaks on the mental health, ethical and medico-legal dimensions of aesthetics, with a focus on informed consent, patient selection, and the psychological drivers of complaints and claims. Brea's work is shaped by lived experience of body dysmorphic disorder, giving her a rare perspective on why psychological risks remain hidden before treatment and why standard consultation, consent and documentation habits can fail both patients and clinicians. Brea holds a degree in Physics and Medical Physics (Hons) from UCL and has a background in finance and consulting, bringing a highly analytical lens to patient safety and practitioner protection in aesthetic medicine.
