Mr Paul Burgess MBE

I am the former CEO of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) now British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN). I joined the Association in 2014 and left in 2025. The membership had risen from around 100 in 2014 to nearly 1,400 medical aesthetic nurses by 2025. I have been a founder member and executive support officer to the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) since 2018. I am an economist and MBA graduate who specialises in all matters associated with developing aesthetic businesses, building associations and campaigning for regulation and licensing. I have spoken at numerous aesthetic conferences. I am currently the director and owner of the Association of Dentists in Aesthetic Practice (ADAP), a new association that will be launched in October 2026. I have operated my own business development consultancy company called PBA Business Consultants since 1997.
