Mustafa Barış Emektar

Mustafa Barış Emektar is an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at ASELSAN, Türkiye's leading defence electronics company, where he has worked since 2022. His work focuses on designing and training reinforcement learning (RL) agents and multilayer perceptron (MLP)-based models for defence applications, including the undersea engagement study presented here. Before moving into AI, he developed real-time C++ software for mission-critical defence systems. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), and his M.Sc. research in Computer Engineering at METU focuses on deep learning.
