Nancy Locke

Nancy is a MBiol Graduate from the University of Oxford. Her master’s research investigated how post-translational modifications regulate RNA-binding proteins during the plant immune response, combining AI modelling and bioinformatic analysis with experimental disease-resistance assays. She has also carried out transcriptomics research at the Max Planck Institute. As former Vice-President of Marketing and Engagement for Oxford University Biotech Society, she led engagement for the inaugural OxBio’26 Summit, which brought together 250+ founders, investors and industry leaders from Oxford, London and Cambridge. Nancy has won a student venture accelerator pitching a healthtech business plan and is passionate about translating research into industry through entrepreneurship.
