Nathan Lea

Nathan is a consultant working with i~HD as their Information Governance Lead and Data Protection Officer. He focuses on understanding evolving regulations to enhance innovation, discovery and impact to improve health and social outcomes. His career explores the balance between enhancing outcomes through data driven innovation and ethical, equitable and transparent practices. Nathan’s roles have included Trusted Research Lead for Cancer Research UK, Information Governance Lead for the UCLH NHS Foundation Trust and Senior Research Fellow at UCL where his research and teaching focused on understanding legal, ethical and security requirements for Big Data driven clinical research.
