Neil A Hodgson

Dr Neil Hodgson is a highly experienced exploration geoscientist with more than 40 years’ experience in the global oil and gas industry. During a career spanning operated exploration, new ventures and multi-client seismic, he has worked across a wide range of geological settings and contributed to exploration programmes and discoveries in numerous regions around the world. 14 years ago, Neil moved from leadership roles in operating exploration companies into the multi-client seismic sector, initially joining Spectrum ASA where his role involved bringing compelling exploration opportunities to exploration companies. He subsequently joined Searcher Seismic, where he is Vice President Geoscience and a Director and where he is identifying and developing new multi-client seismic opportunities, interpreting datasets and helping explorers understand the hydrocarbon potential of frontier and emerging basins.
