Nick Curum

Nick Curum is a strategy and transformation leader with 18 years' experience across energy, technology, data and major capital projects. He has held senior roles with BG Group, Saudi Aramco, CNOOC International and Africa Oil (now Meren Energy), working on complex international assets, M&A and large-scale transformation. His work has included supporting multi-billion capital decisions and advising leadership teams on strategy, risk and value creation. Today he leads delivery at AppyWay, whose technology helps cities turn street data into low-carbon transport, from EV charging to active travel, across the UK and internationally. He also founded the AI Energy Think Tank, which researches AI infrastructure and energy demand. Through his writing, speaking and advisory work, he focuses on how leaders make better decisions when the information is complex, and the cost of getting it wrong is high.
