Nicky Simpson

Nicky Simpson is a contemporary textiles artist and teacher, with 25 experience years working as a print designer, who for the past 10 years has been a textile consultant, focusing on developing and leading the online and face to face workshops for the Textile Skills Centre. Nicky has a degree in print design and 25 years’ experience as a senior director of a fashion print agency in London, designing and creating seasonal fashion print collections for the international market. Nicky designed and sold to all the high street stores from Marks and Spencer to River Island. Nicky also taught Fashion & Textiles for 12 years at a school in Kent. She now co runs the Textile Skills Centre as a textile consultant, developing and leading the delivery of their online and Face to Face textile workshops across the UK.
