Nikolina Brnjac

Nikolina Brnjac has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2024, serving on the Committees on Transport and Tourism (TRAN), Regional Development (REGI), and Housing (HOUS). She previously served as Croatia’s Minister of Tourism and Sports (2020–2024), leading the sector through the COVID-19 crisis and recovery, with a focus on sustainability and destination management. A university professor with a PhD in Transport and Traffic Technology, she advocates for competitive, resilient and sustainable European tourism, balanced regional development and stronger connectivity.
