Nishat Gupte

Nishat Gupte is Chief Executive Officer of Compass Box, the world's most awarded independent Scotch whisky brand. He joined in March 2025 to lead the company's transformation to a scaled global Masterbrand. Previously, Gupte was founding CEO of Betty Buzz and Betty Booze, where he built the business from concept to a multi-million-dollar premium no and low beverage portfolio sold across the US, Canada, and the UK. Before that, he was Head of European Luxury and Alcoholic Beverage Investment Banking at Credit Suisse, where he led the sale of Aviation Gin to Diageo. He began his career at Diageo and EY. Gupte holds an LLB from the London School of Economics and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He lives in London with his wife and two children.
