Olubunmi Martindale-Sheldon BSc, MSc, CSci, FIBMS is Director of Laboratory Operations at Diagnexia UK Limited, overseeing histology and digital pathology operations. She has over 18 years' experience in pathology across the NHS, private sector, and academia. Her career spans biochemistry, blood sciences, point of care testing, and histopathology. This included leading Point of Care Testing services across a large pathology network covering multiple NHS hospital sites in North West London, and directorate-level oversight of pathology, pharmacy, bereavement, and medical examiner services at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. In the private sector, she led the set-up of a new histopathology laboratory from scratch through to CQC registration and UKAS accreditation. She guest lectures at Kingston University and has spoken at sepsis and point-of-care testing conferences on translating diagnostic innovation into clinical practice.
