Panagiotis Martakis

Dr. Panagiotis Martakis is the Founder and CEO of Irmos Technologies AG, a Zurich-based company that turns bridge monitoring data into better maintenance decisions. Irmos delivers a fully integrated solution, from sensors on the structure to the IRMOS Asset Manager platform, where monitoring results feed directly into risk assessment, maintenance planning and budgets. A structural engineer by training, Panagiotis has built Irmos into a team of 20 and an internationally active business. Irmos currently monitors more than 10 km of bridges and infrastructure assets across Central Europe and the United States, for owners including Die Autobahn GmbH in Germany, the Swiss Federal Office of Transport and the New York City Department of Transportation. He works closely with infrastructure owners to get measurable value from monitoring: lower risk, longer service life and maintenance budgets directed where they matter most.
