Peter Cummings is a Chartered Civil Engineer, Chartered Manager and Project Director with Amey, with over 19 years of experience delivering major transportation and infrastructure projects across Scotland. As Erskine Bridge Manager within the Southwest NMC Contract, Peter leads the strategic management, maintenance, and improvement of one of Scotland’s most significant bridge assets. Peter has extensive experience delivering projects from feasibility and option assessment through design, procurement, construction, and close-out. Early career roles in site-based supervision on major infrastructure schemes, including the AWPR, provided valuable insight into the practical challenges of project delivery and asset management. Accredited as an NEC3 and NEC4 Project Manager, Peter has successfully supported complex trunk road and bridge projects for Transport Scotland and local authorities.
