Phesto brings over 30 years of extensive experience across Zambia’s mining, construction, and economic development sectors. He has held several senior leadership positions, including roles in industrial development and strategic consulting, with a focus on advancing economic growth and private sector participation. He has demonstrated strong leadership in both public and private sector engagements, having led initiatives across infrastructure development, mineral resource management, and local enterprise empowerment. Phesto is well versed in corporate governance, industrial policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement within the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. He currently serves on various boards and advisory committees within Zambia’s industrial and mining landscape.
