Phill Turner

Phill Turner, also known as phill.ai, is an AI-first filmmaker, creative technologist, speaker, and educator exploring how generative AI is changing film, music, storytelling, advertising, and creative production. His journey runs through every major wave of modern technology: hardware, software, business IT, internet marketing, video production, and now generative AI. His first cinema memory was Star Wars in 1977 at the age of six. His first computer was a Commodore 64 at eleven. At seventeen, he joined IBM as an apprentice during the rise of the personal computer. Phill began in B2B software distribution, becoming the first salesperson in his company to sell £1M of software in a single month. He later co-founded and scaled an IT training company to around £1M annual turnover, serving major organisations including Microsoft, HSBC, Intel, Glaxo, Prudential, Barclays, Aviva, NatWest, BAT, Legal and General, and more than 20 UK councils.
