Colechi

I am Piarvé, the co-founder of Colechi and I run a knitting club called YKWU which invites a young audience to knit together whilst learning about fashion. I also run a fabric marketplace called Last Yarn, which allows designers and mills from the fashion industry to resell their fabrics on our platform. I run a sewing club called The Sewcial Club. I have a level 1 qualification in fashion design from Fashion Enter and can use a sewing machine. I have been teaching sewing classes since 2015 and currently facilitate at a monthly sewing club called The Sewcial Club. Colechi runs a knitting club, and I am a self taught knitter, and was awarded the Talent 25 award from Somerset House to invest in R&D. Our work has been recongised by Vogue, Elle, Essence and Monocle, and we are part of the Vogue Business 100 Innovators list and Elle UK’s Green List 2024. Our knitting club YKWU was awarded a Fashion Values Award at the Global Fashion Agenda event in Copenhagen.
