Poorvi Sharma

Poorvi Sharma is a clinical leader with expertise in advanced diabetic foot complications management, high-risk foot care, and multidisciplinary approaches to reducing diabetes-related amputations. She is a passionate advocate for tackling health inequalities and improving access to equitable, evidence-based care for people living with diabetes. Poorvi has delivered four international and three national presentations, with recent research submissions to European diabetes associations. With a strong commitment to advancing diabetic foot practice through research and innovation, she was appointed Associate Principal Investigator for the DOMiNo-DFU trial, contributing to the development of evidence that informs future clinical care. Beyond her clinical role, Poorvi is committed to inclusive leadership and workforce development.
